Job Description

: Solutions Engineer Client is looking for someone with full stack development experience using JavaScript and 3rd party API"s. This person should be able to work independently, but can also collaborate with others and speak up if they need help or clarity. They should show an aptitude for continuous learning and enjoy implementing new technologies. Handling quickly shifting priorities, giving and receiving feedback and interfacing directly with end customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude is a must. Last but not least, a good sense of humor is crucial to meshing with the current team. As a Marketing Operations Solution Engineer, you will work with Solution Architects to create scalable combinations of people, process, and technology that ensure best practices in campaign planning / execution, lead generation, segmentation, and data management. You will be expected to stay abreast of industry and technology trends, write detailed technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance our marketing infrastructure. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, which involve stakeholders from across the company. Responsibilities Develop web-based applications using JavaScript (e.g., React, Node, Meteor), HTML, and CSS Create and maintain NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL (eg., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) databases Interact with 3rd party APIs (e.g., Salesforce, Eloqua, ServiceNow) to enhance and automate tasks Develop integrations using a service-oriented-architecture (e.g., REST API) and various business rules engines including custom rules Enhance technical components of key marketing systems used to plan / execute campaigns and generate, distribute, and report on leads Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing performance Create and run manual test cases and implement automated testing wherever possible Contribute to detailed technical documentation, including, but not limited to: user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, statements of work, and blog posts Subject Matter Expertise Experience with JavaScript web application technologies (e.g., React, Node, Meteor) Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc.) Experience with continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins) Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Enzyme, JUnit) Experience designing with HTML and CSS / SASS Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g., Eloqua, ExactTarget) or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) a plus Experience developing in container-based Platform-as-a-Service (e.g., Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes) a plus Requirements 4+ years of work experience and/or BA/BS in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field Track record of using Agile and Scrum development processes to develop software Great problem solver, ability to learn independently, and work in an ambiguous environment Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, in a fast-paced environment, across time zones and with different cultures
