Job Description

Responsibilities • Lead technical pre-sales activities for accounts • Drive EMC Storage, Software and BRS architecture discussions / solutions in your accounts • Work with customers to identify new sales opportunities • Build out of customer-facing presentations and delivering them to customers • Complete data analysis to size open systems EMC storage solutions • Assist in data analysis to size Avamar, Networker, or Data Domain solutions • Validate Storage and BRS configuration and implementation plans • Scope services engagements with the services delivery team and assist with the development of statements of work • Assist on virtualization, networking, cloud, and other opportunities with the appropriate Eastern resources • Uses knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of storage infrastructure and management. • Builds in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into EMC solution opportunities. • Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting technical resources. • Responsible for the coordination, delivery and quality of presales Technology Solutions deliverables within the account which mayinclude items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposal inputs. • Builds value-added relationships within the account to become the trusted advisor • Responsible for developing and proposing technology solutions that meet customers' needs. Ensures that proposed solutions when implemented meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer. • Assist in ROI, TCO data requirements.
