Job Summary

IT Business Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. We are providing IT services in ERP systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, IDE, SAP, NetSuite and GreatPlains, etc., Saas applications such as Salesforce.com, SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle SPM and Fusion Cloud, etc., EDW/BI tools, such as BigData, Oracle BI and Tableau, etc. Must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with Cliecon Solutions, developing a rapport with new clients, and setting targets for sales and providing support that will continually improve the relationship. Also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients while developing the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

--Develop a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services that Cliecon can provide and of Cliecon's competitors

--Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business

--Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities

--Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network

--Research and build relationships with new clients

--Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs

--Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs

--Attend industry functions such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

--Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

--Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

--Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets

Qualifications and Skills

--Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Science or Engineering equivalent

--At least 5 years of sales experience in the client professional services arena with a proven track record of success

--Knowledge of using professional social media tools such as Linkedin

--Strong networking and persuasion skills

--Experience in writing responses to RFPs, RFIs, etc.

--Some technical knowledge around Technology and technical development platforms, such as Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Project Management, QA, SQL/Oracle/MS SQL Server, Information Security, etc.

--Work with senior leadership to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments

--Experience prospecting new clients and breaking/developing local small, mid-market and/or national accounts

--Ability to research client's needs and identify client challenges

--Strong written and verbal communication skills

--Experience with an ATS

--Experience with Microsoft Office
